Open Arms is an informal organisation of people and organisations local to Maidenhead. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”).

Open Arms follows the principles of the General Data Protection Regulations which requires data to:

  • Be held and processed only for the specific purposes listed above

Open Arms does not share this information with any other organisation, and will delete this information on request.

Open Arms collects personal information about Ukrainian refugees living or seeking to live in or around Maidenhead and current or prospective hosts. The information is used solely for the purpose of conducting the following core chartitable activities:

  • Connecting hosts and refugees with each other where they have asked to be connected.

  • Collating and distributing depersonalised reports showing the total number of refugees and their hosts, broken down into categories that will help enhance support and policy towards refugees.
